Haakon has eighteen years of industry experience and leads Probitas Partners’ activities in Europe and the Middle East. Prior to joining Probitas Partners, Haakon was a Director at Wedge Alternatives, a boutique placement agent in London focused on raising capital for private equity and hedge funds. Prior to that, Haakon worked at Goldman Sachs in New York and London, most recently as an Associate supporting the interest rate derivatives sales desk in London. Haakon earned a BSc in Business Administration from University of Colorado at Boulder. He also holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) Designation.
Jack has over seven years of industry experience and is responsible for Probitas Partners’ relationship management activities across EMEA based out of London. Prior to joining Probitas Partners, Jack was at AZR Capital where he was responsible for raising assets across a range of private equity and private credit mandates from institutional investors and family offices in EMEA and Asia. Prior to AZR, Jack also held a similar role at AA Advisors and before that was at Merian Global Investors (OMGI before their MBO alongside TA Associates) where he covered the UK investor market distributing their range of alternative, equity and fixed income strategies. Jack earned a BA(econ) from the University of Manchester with a specialty in Finance and is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).
Tanaka has over fifteen years of industry experience and is responsible for Probitas Partners’ relationship management activities in Europe. Prior to Probitas, Tanaka worked in fundraising for Engel & Völkers Capital/Asset Management, a German real estate fund manager. Previously, he served as advisor to EWIA Green Investments, an impact-driven investment firm focused on solar projects into emerging markets. In 2016, he was relocated to Munich from London by an asset-servicing entity spun out from von Braun & Schreiber Private Equity Partners (AssetMetrix). Prior to this he headed-up European M&A advisory/sponsor sales at Mergermarket Group. During his nine year tenure he was instrumental in growing the firm under ownership by founders/VC, then a strategic corporate (FT/Pearson) and later when it was sold to investors BC Partners/GIC. Tanaka began his career with Spark Ventures as an analyst followed by a stint as a Lloyd’s of London broker for Aon (M&A) and Willis (Listed Property Risks). He achieved his Masters (Management) at Durham University & completed the Future of Real Estate Programme at Oxford University Saïd Business School.
Chirag has seventeen years of industry experience and is responsible for Probitas Partners’ fund placement project management activities. Prior to joining Probitas Partners, Chirag served as a vice president of business management with Goldman Sachs Global FX and FICC eBusiness desks. While at Goldman Sachs, Chirag was responsible for driving business strategy across trading and sales, and project managing product launches and system developments. Chirag earned a BSc in Mathematics and a MSc in Corporate Governance from the University of London.
